How the GentleMax Pro® works

During treatment, the GentleMax Pro® laser delivers a brief, intense beam of light that is absorbed by the hair follicle and converted to heat. The heat damages the hair follicle but leaves surrounding tissue unaffected and unharmed. In synchronicity with its lasers, the GentleMax Pro® uses a cooling device that minimizes discomfort through a quick-delivery burst of liquid cryogen before and after each laser pulse.

Two wavelengths, 755nm and 1064 nm, make the GentleMax Pro® safe for other indications such as vascular and pigmented lesions or malformations, angiomas, port wine stains, brown spots and more.

Combined, these technologies provide comfort and effectiveness in hair removal and skin lesion reduction in short appointments with no downtime required after treatment.
