Our South San Jose CSI location is conveniently located between Highways 85 and 101. Our office offers state-of-the-art comprehensive skin care and medical dermatology using advanced laser technologies. We address both general, medical, and cosmetic dermatology. Treatments include injectables, Botox and Dysport, varicose vein removal, laser hair removal, Fraxel repair, CoolSculpting, Emervel, and more.* Our board-certified dermatologist is experienced in treating conditions including, but not limited to, rosacea, eczema, enlarged pores, excessive sweating, hand aging, facial volume loss, and double chin. Dermatology in South San Jose
On June 3rd, 2013 the medical practice of Kent Carson, M.D. FAAD merged with California Skin Institute, the largest private dermatology practice in California. The center will continue the excellent medical and surgical dermatology care provided by Dr. Carson.* With the addition of Dr. Katharine Ball in August 2013, the office will offer additional state-of-the-art laser, microwave, ultrasound, cosmetic, and surgical techniques.
Kent Carson, MD is a board certified dermatologist with over thirty years of clinical experience treating adult and childhood conditions of skin, hair, and nails. Dr. Carson trained at Stanford, Mayo Clinic, and UCSF among other institutions. Dr. Carson is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Stanford University Medical Center and a Clinical Lecturer in Dermatology at the University of California Medical Center, San Francisco; he has taught at both institutions since 1980. Dr. Carson is in charge of dermatology education for the Family Practice physicians at San Jose O’Conner Hospital.
