Dermatitis

Dermatitis (also called Eczema) is a general term to describe skin inflammation. There are many types and causes of dermatitis. Children often have a type of eczema known as atopic dermatitis. The cause is unknown, but tends to run in families and is often associated with asthma and hay fever. In adults, dermatitis can be related to allergic contact dermatitis, such as poison oak. To effectively diagnose and treat your specific skin concern, we recommend you make an appointment with one of our experienced clinicians.
