As of November 29, 2018, Carlsbad and Vista Dermatology has joined California Skin Institute. We extend a warm welcome to Dr. Vu H. Nguyen, Dr. Ramin Fathi, and the team!

Carlsbad | Vista Dermatology is led by Dr. Vu H. Nguyen and offers a full spectrum of medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology with a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Dr. Vu H. Nguyen is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in skin cancer, medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, and dermatopathology. Dr. Nguyen practiced dermatology and dermatopathology at Scripps Clinic and then Mission Internal Medical Group/Mission Hospital prior to starting his own dermatology and dermatopathology practice at Carlsbad and Vista Dermatology. Dr. Nguyen completed medical school, internship, dermatology residency, and a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ramin Fathi a board-certified medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologist. Dr. Fathi is also a fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic surgeon. Dr. Fathi has written over 25 peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters, and has spoken at national meetings. He is a member and has held committee positions in the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
