As of February 19, 2019, David C. Herzlinger, M.D. Inc., Dermatology has joined California Skin Institute. We extend a warm welcome to Dr. David Herzlinger and his team!

David C. Herzlinger, M.D. Inc., Dermatology is a medical dermatology practice located in the beautiful coastal city of Newport Beach in southern California specializing in diagnosing and treating medical conditions of the skin, hair, and nails, and providing comprehensive dermatological care to patients of all ages.

Dr. David Herzlinger is a board-certified dermatologist that has practiced in Newport Beach, California for forty years.  Dr. Herzlinger earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and then completed an Internal Medicine Residency program at Temple University in Philadelphia.

Upon completion of his Internal Medicine residency Dr. Herzlinger served in the U. S. Navy as a Lt. Commander in charge of the Internal Medicine Department at Subic Bay Naval Hospital in the Philippines. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Herzlinger completed a residency in Dermatology at the University of California -Irvine and Long Beach V.A. Hospitals.

Dr. Herzlinger is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Physicians, Orange County Dermatology society, California Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.  He is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He takes great pride in caring for his patients and continues to participate in local community skin cancer screenings through Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach.
