Anjali Varma Morales, MD, PHD

Anjali Varma Morales, M.D., Ph.D., is board-certified in dermatology and internal medicine, specializing in general adult and pediatric dermatology. She received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. She completed her medical degree and doctor of philosophy from the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD program of Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Rockefeller University, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Institute. She then completed a residency in internal medicine at Stanford University, followed by working for two years as a hospitalist at Kaiser Santa Clara.

She returned to Stanford University to complete a two-year fellowship in cutaneous lymphoma. She then completed residency in dermatology at Stanford University and joined California Skin Institute in July 2011.

Dr. Morales’ interests in dermatology include skin cancer screening, and treatment of complex medical diseases, including cutaneous lymphoma, autoimmune skin diseases, psoriasis, eczema, and acne. She performs excisional surgery for skin cancers and benign skin lesions, and has expertise in Botox and fillers.

Dr. Morales has published articles in some of the most prominent peer-reviewed journals, including Nature, the Journal of Clinical Investigation, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Journal of Dermatopathology.

Dr. Morales is married with three children. She is fond of piano, guitar, and enjoys most of all, time with family.
