Cellulaze™ for Cellulite Reduction
What is Cellulaze Laser cellulite Reduction?
Cellulaze™ laser cellulite reduction utilizes cutting edge technology to specifically decrease the appearance of cellulite, and is a welcome addition to California Skin Institute’s 17 year history of offering tumescent (local anesthesia) liposuction.*
How cellulite is Formed
The appearance of cellulite is caused by structural problems beneath the skin. As excess fat cells develop pockets under the skin, connective tissue surrounding these fat deposits (called setae) become tough, and inflexible as the result of age, hormonal changes, or a number of other factors.
Over time, these bands of connective tissue (setae) tighten, and the excess fat deposits are squeezed (or herniated) causing them to push up against the skin from underneath. These herniated fat deposits are what cause the familiar dimpled, orange peel appearance of cellulite, and this problem can worsen with age as your skin becomes thinner and less elastic.
How Laser cellulite Reduction can Help
Laser cellulite reduction targets the structural problems of cellulite at the source, not only treating the fibrous bands under your skin, but also promoting thickening and increased elasticity in your skin through new collagen growth.* This effectively decreases the appearance of cellulite giving you younger, smooth looking thighs–and since our anti-cellulite procedure targets the structure of cellulite, outcomes are long-lasting.*
How does Cellulaze Laser cellulite Reduction work?
Laser cellulite reduction is a quick and minimally invasive procedure.* First, your physician will mark the areas to be treated, and make a few very small incisions about the size of a pen tip. A small tube (or cannula) is inserted beneath the skin and a SideLight laser is inserted through the cannula so that it can be oriented to target pockets of fat. As the SideLight fiber laser attacks these fat cells they are damaged and the remaining liquefied fat is gently suctioned out.*
Next, the SideLight fiber laser is re-oriented to target the rigid fibrous bands called septae, which worsen the appearance of cellulite.* The setae are thermally subcised, allowing the skin to adopt a smoother, more consistent appearance.*
Finally, the laser cellulite reduction laser is used to send energy to the hypo dermal junction to promote the growth of new collagen and increase the elasticity of your skin.*
How Safe is the Cellulaze™ Anti-lite Procedure?
Since the Cellulaze™ system’s small laser also seals blood vessels as it zaps fat, any bruising, bleeding, or swelling is minimized.* In fact, laser cellulite reduction is so minimally invasive it only requires local anesthesia, so you don’t have to worry about the time and risk associated with traditional liposuction under general anesthesia.*
Most importantly, the anti-cellulite procedure requires a single session, so there’s never been a faster way to smooth, younger looking thighs.* Many patients notice immediate improvement after the procedure with outcomes lasting one year or more.*1
Is Cellulaze Laser cellulite Reduction Right for Me?
The California Skin Institute’s anti-cellulite procedure effectively changes what diet and exercise can’t.* Not only is laser cellulite reduction safe, but it’s also more effective at treating the appearance of cellulite longterm.* Laser cellulite reduction is best suited for treating the appearance of cellulite surround the thighs, and provides a less invasive, non-surgical alternative to tradition tumescent liposuction.*
